Welcome to the Sugar Tree Art webstore!

I am Samuel Stewart, artist/owner of Sugar Tree Art located in the city of Kingston, Tennessee. I have been painting for several years though only working with watercolor for the past 3. As my paintings show, I have a deep interest in history, architecture, and old abandoned things. In addition, I like to paint brands and everyday things from life, cars, trucks, especially brands that no longer exist or are historical. And things common to the geographical area!

Born in Oak Ridge, TN in 1951, grew up in the Norwood area of Oliver Springs, attended Clinton High School, Class of ‘69, BS from Tusculum University Class of ‘94. Retired electrician from TVA Power Systems.
